23 - Grant

I met Grant randomly in a little town that I was visiting for the week. His bike was parked in a parking lot, on which I left my card. Shortly after, we made plans to meet up and do his session.

He was quiet spoken, but very friendly. Originally from Toronto, he moved farther north to escape the rigours of city life, and opted for something simpler (as we all should). Originally a Honda owner, he made his last move to this Harley, of which there were only 2500 made.

To shoot this, I was hanging out of the back of my trunk, and waited for a long stretch so that my driver (thanks Goran!) could pull into the passing lane to get the shot. I set the shutter speed to something around 1/100 to keep him sharp, but get enough of the motion blur of the road and background.
