Her dog Raffi caught my eye as I headed back to my car after a morning of shooting the sunrise on Lake Ontario. I realized that this was a perfectly good stranger to ask, and without much hesitation I had my next victim.
This woman, my friends, is a real-live Torontonian - born and raised. She's lived here all her life, and is running her own fitness business from home. She had just entered the park to take Raffi for his morning walk before she headed back for her 'strict' 9am start.
As the sun had already risen, I was forced to shoot her in broad daylight, so in an effort to avoid harsh shadows across her face, I walked around her to get the sun to her back, which ended up creating a nice rim light around her.
